At Intimo Jewellery, we source and make might quality jewellery. Using quality metals, plating and gemstones. With that said, all jewellery (including plated and 925 sterling silver) can experience normal wear and tear over time. Please follow these tips to extend the life of your jewellery, prevent early tarnish and maintain the shine:
- Keep jewellery in your INTIMO box/dust bag when not in use
- Remove all jewellery before sleeping
- Clean after each use with a soft cloth
- Remove jewellery when washing hands
- Avoid bathing and showering with jewellery on
- Avoid all contact with chemicals (including creams)
- Wait for creams and perfumes to dry before putting on any jewellery
- Avoid direct contact with sweat
We recommend that you handle all items with care to ensure longevity. Exposing plated jewellery to water and chemicals will cause the plating to disintegrate and oxidise. All metals will over time tarnish. With the right care you can slow this down. Please bare this in mind and take care of your items accordingly.
